I've only had one lucid dream that I can remember. And that was only semi-lucid, probably because my imagination is weird.

Even when I'm awake I never have complete control over what my imagination does. Example- I have this awesome idea for something, but I can't seem to make it take form in my head, it keeps turning into other things.

It was pretty much the same in my one and only lucid dream (that I remember), it was like some sort of battle of will between what I wanted to happen and what I imagined would happen.

I can't remember what the dream was about though. Just the mental conflict.

Haha, Invertin, you got it spot-on.

I think I used to have the ability... but I don't think I have it anymore.

I remember this one dream where I went to sit on the couch and made it fly around in the living room. Spin round the corners and maybe even loop-de-loops if I wanted to, and stuff...
Yeah.

Oh, and Ren and McJoggin: It's because oranges are illegal in dreamland!
No, seriously, one nightmare I had when I was young I had barely thought of a single orange while in an elevator, and when the doors opened they had the barky-yappy-multiplying spaniel squad after me already.
Yes, it was one spaniel when the doors opened but ended up filling the entire level of the building with dogs, if not more.

Judging from this thread, 90% of the internet has the ability to lucid dream. lol

Maybe, generally, most people who can't, can't because they're too unimaginative and thus have no time or patience for the internet, finding office jobs and such?

...just speculating.

I wouldn't say "imaginative" is a prerequisite for being a member of this forum. lol

I have yet to fully grasp the fine art of Lucid Dreaming, but I am drawing ever nearer.

As far as insane goes, this forum isn't very insane. Interesting? Yes. Insane? No. Some people on it do try too hard to seem insane though! lolz.

Anyway, even if I could perform this so called lucid dreaming, I wouldn't bother with it, I can just play video games that let me do all that stuff.

Same over here :)

I agree with Ren. We really just get so off topic, it SEEMS we're being insane, but we're really just being a bunch of people with ADD.
