Guess I was a little worked up on the title, and I said acknowledge, that gives a lot of space for disagreement

So if Overgrowth has complex climbing gameplay features will that mean it's plagiarising Assassin's Creed? Good logic.

Jeez lighten up guys I see where he's coming from. Copying other games gameplay mechanics have been around for years though like I've said before.

Thats my point. Like I said, you guys are attacking me like I said "What?! This game has guns?! That is such stealing!"

If Overgrowth was to AC in the way WET is to SH, Overgrowth would have to be:

a) Set in bustling cities with buildings and fountains and bell towers, with guards and elite guards and restricted areas scattered throughout.

B) We would have weapons allocated to the "I","J","K", and "L" buttons, which were upgraded as we killed specific targets (Like as if after you killed the alpha wolf you gained access to a better sword)

C) Finally, you would have to answer to someone who eventually betrayed you.

I shouldn't have made this thread, and would now change the title as it is truly inappropriate, as I was merely noticing that there were many similarities, above the normal level, that linked the two games.

Oh, hey, dudes. People often confuse publishers and developers, it seems.
Bethesda is just publishing this game. Maybe no one cares. I sorta care.
There's just too much love in me, man.
Anyway, I haven't played it yet, but it seems sorta mediocre. Perhaps it is not!
Further investigation is needed.

Games are often very 'inspired' by other games. Like the upcomming Dante's Inferno, that seems quite God of War-like. Of course, there are other similar hack-and-slash games, (Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden) but when I see footage of the game GoW comes to mind.
That's just how it goes, daddy-o. Peace.

Hahaha, A2M is really an abbreviation of something else completely.

Well, I bought WET yesterday (I had it preordered).
So...
The gameplay is pretty generic, there's nothing that really stands out. Its solid, and its fun, but it isn't innovative really. You can do all sorts of slow-motion linked moves and gun combat and there are some time-button press events. Basically, take a bunch of stuff from previous action games and mash them all together into one game. So what makes WET stand out? The style. The style is awesome. Its like playing a Quentin Tarantino movie. Also, the soundtrack is awesome.

Basically, what the game lacks in innovation, it makes up for in style.
