Yeah, I knew deep down it was probably not going to work. I just wish there was some way I could have her back, but that's out of the question. I'm already working on getting over it. She had reason to end it, though. I'm pretty sure she tried to make it work, but after she returned to school it started seeming like we were becoming more distant, no longer flirting like we used to. She also seemed less inclined to send me e-mails and stuff anymore.

In the end, it was most likely for the best, because she didn't feel the same way. We're still going to be friends. We started out as great friends, which is why I asked her. I mean, if you can be friends with a girl, why not try asking her out?

Yeah, that's pretty much the same for me.

But, you know, it's hard to be like, "Well, whatever." It'd be both easier and more difficult if she was actually acting like she cared, but whatever.

Anyway, someone should rename this thread "Broken hearts and video games" or something to that effect. Or possibly "the sob club". I dunno. xD

Lol. I'm not sobbing. I'm actually feeling pretty good, and I went to a friend's 17th last night. I'm already feeling better, but I'd give anything to have her back.
