What do you make of this? Is it the coils of a black dragon? Tire tracks? The odd footprints of a worm-like creature? Os is there something hidden in there?

1. It looks like a bunch of torn, ripped, twisted tires.
2. It's some kind of Peter jackson/spielbierg/ILM freak centipede scaly monster, curled around itself.

Looks like the Chinese symbol for Che to me, copied a bucket loads of times.

I noticed that too, Beard :V Well, not the fact that it looked like the symbol 'Che' but I saw a pictograph-esque little image in the middle.

EDIT: Crookedly outlined in red...

This is my poor rendition of what I think it is, and to correct myself, it's not Che, and I don't know what it is. Familiar looking, but I'm going to have to ask my Taiwanese housemate when I next see her if she knows.

I was never able to do those stare-at-the-picture-for-ages-and-let-your-eyes-go-out-of-focus-until-you-start-to-see-something things.

Uberbeard, I think you only got part of the chinese symbol.
Missing some of the upper strokes

I see this:
連

In Japanese it is called REN and means group, follower. (Rough translation here.)

No idea, why this should be anything special, though.

Yeah I originally saw that box shape in the center which is why I thought it might be Che, but it's hard to make out if that wasn't just the top part repeated.

And I'm going blinder trying to figure it out.
