I wasn't really criticizing, that the particular image was pulled. It just thought it was curious, compared to the porn incident. The image in question was offensive, but at the same time well placed in context. It was the image war thread, it was a proper reply that held to the rules of the particular thread. The forum rules are not really specific on that point, I mean "Please remember, that there are children." can mean anything. I guess, Armored_Wolf wanted to shock, but I don't think he was purposefully breaking the rules.
On the other hand, the "Ban me"-thread was the total opposite. A deliberate attempt to break the rules by offending and get banned, it still was the randomness section, but well...

It is like leaving the trolls be and "punishing" the innocent.

I honestly never expected that this thread would become a channel for me to repost the image  I wish I had thought of that so I could take credit for it.

Anyway, Zhukes, you wants the image? Don't say everybody else didn't warn you.

That has no bearing on the relevance of my post, dear child.

There are rules against roadkill? Sheesh, and all you people come from a game where you brutally kill other animals. I'm missing something.

That's what i was going to say.. but then i know people are obviously going to say that video games & reality are two different things in terms of accepting animal violence/death. I don't like seeing animals get hurt or die but it happens.. even people end up as roadkill sometimes sadly.. :|

Well, yes, they clearly are two completely different things. I enjoy knocking down countless pedestrians in Saints Row 2, or seeing how many strippers in a row I can kill with headshots in my personal mega-condo, or seeing how far I can throw a stripper (my personal best is off the top of a lighthouse.

Having said that, I can't ever envision myself throwing a stripper off the top of a lighthouse. Even in the extremely unlikely case that I'm presented with such a real-life opportunity, I can't imagine I'd actually do it...at least I hope not, I can't predict the future.

Why does the rules also have to include common sense? If you post disgusting/shocking stuff, people are going to respond with shock and disgust ...

You can't complain that this doesn't need a thread if you didn't see the picture. You don't even know what you're commenting sarcasm about.

Yes I can. I'm presented with the following information:

1. The thread is an apology. Automatically a sign of feigned self-importance. Such an apology could have been posted in the image thread. An arguments that such an apology would not have been relevant to the thread topic is just semantics, I much prefer one off-topic and succinct apology to a whole other thread displaying one's ego...unless one is as awesome as I clearly am.
2. The thread is about a single image in a single thread, which was edited and not viewed by the majority of the forum. It hardly warrants a full thread apologising for it. Such melodrama is best left to soap operas.
3. The community was not looking for an apology. From the reactions in the image thread, no one was too outraged, and no such apology thread was sought.

You would do well, in future, to assess what you're saying before you proceed to spout nonsense about what I can and can not make a comment on.

Also, please never subject me to such blatant bastardisation of the English language as you did with "You don't even know what you're commenting sarcasm about."

You didn't even see the picture. You might have not thought it was offensive. Why are you trying to start a fight anyways? We all know you're smart, because that's what you try to prove on this forum every chance you can. And we know of your wanting so, SO, SO SO BAD of you unique independence with your fancy little purple bold font.

Also, please never subject me to such blatant bastardization of the English language as you misspelled the words "bastardization" and "apologizing."

There's a fine line between bastardization and misspelling it. You bastardized the grammar really badly, he just misspelled it a little.
