VVVVVV - did you beat it?

Post by Blorx » Mon Feb 15, 2010 2:04 pm

Okay, so I just got "Game Complete!" in VVVVVV. I don't have all the trinkets yet, but I'm going to work on it because I still haven't seen some of the puzzles in vids I've seen.

I did this at about 2 hours and 45 minutes with 1381 deaths, 207 of which were in the room "The Final Challenge."

Did anyone else beat it? Care to compare scores?

What an annoying rhythm game. In the demo, I could see how the puzzles should go but the speed and the slightly overzealous controls made me give up on one of the trinkets that were available. I much prefer Shift's puzzles that can be quite devious sometimes, but don't have time limits.

I Wanna Be The Guy is a rather fun game.
Though I guess at first glance, you might get confused about what to do.

I have only played VVVVVV on Kongregate. I am seriously considering buying in, since I enjoyed the demo immensely. I like that kind of infuriating challenge that VVVVVV provides so well.

Heh, it was worth the money, imo.
