I can't really see the problem of being influenced by other games and I really wouldn't call it rip off. If it really is that similar just give credit for the influence. It's not like you will be selling it for money.

Kirby is a bit overpowered. He can fly, spit, jump, run, absorb, and possibly one or two other things I am missing. Mega Man can jump and shoot. Whoopee.
