Just picked it up a little while ago. The mousepad isn't bad (its useful at least), the soundtrack is decent, I don't see myself sitting down and listening to it, but none of the music is ear splitting. Still not sure what I'm gonna do with the pillow case.
EDIT: haha, they included the "porn song" on the soundtrack, the one from the US debut trailer.

Heh, the mousepad was a bit awkward for me, honestly. I have it on my shelf with other gaming stuff for now. My brother got claims on the pillow case (what the hell else was I going to do with it?) and I haven't listened to the soundtrack, but what I heard in game was pretty good, at least for the game's duration.

i just received 60 dollars. I am now debating on;
pre-ordering Overgrowth (witch i have been long awaiting of course)
or
Buying Record of Agarest special edition with the boobpad.

decisions decisions. on one hand i have weekly alphas all the other benefits of being a pre-orderer.
and on the other i have a new SRPG to grind on and goodies too look at. HMMMMMMMMM! 8)

Record of Agarest War: Limited Naughty Edition is a first run only deal. They're making a, well...limited number of them before they start releasing just the game at the standard $60 price. If none of the stuff in it really interests you, you could wait for the regular game to come out.

Agarest is fun so far, the turn order/action order is throwing me off a bit, something I'm not used to in Strategy RPGs, but so far its been interesting.

I actually enjoy the combat system and turn order much more than similar games. For example, I'm having much more fun with it than I am with Eternal Poison or Battle Moon Wars.

I didn't realize I'd be reviving my damn mage so much (she is so damn squishy)...I probably should have spent all that money on health and revive items rather than alchemy and blacksmithing books. Might have to restart again.

Gray, lol at the video.

Also, you mean Ellis right? Yeah, she doesn't take hits really well, but when you string attacks together correctly, she can be a vital part of the team. :mrgreen:

Also, it's always hard to figure out what you need to do with the initial money you're given in JRPGs. For instance, whereas some games would have you use it to stock up on health items only, games like Monster Hunter encourage you to use it to buy your first set of real armor (have you ever noticed how perfectly its divied up for that? ;))

Anyways, yeah, I never got past that first town. That's where I stopped yesterday and I just got home today, so I'll see what I can do to make it work.

Also, what difficulty are you playing on? I'm on Normal.

Yeah I'm also playing on Normal. I'm on the first "dungeon" after the first town, I've found that using the other two characters as bait to keep Ellis out of danger seems to work...unless a Combo attack puts her right in the MIDDLE of the damn group of enemies.
