LOLCODE

Post by Blorx » Mon May 24, 2010 7:53 pm

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LOLCODE

Lmfao. Just found this the other day when someone mentioned that he was going to write an MMO in either this or brainfuck.

It's so tempting to try and write a game in it (LOLCATS TA DA REZCU  )...but at the same time, I have this odd feeling that it doesn't have enough features to do that. :P

It's a real language, too. It has parsers in PHP, Python, Ruby, etc, haha.

I can't help but mentally personify Wikipedia as an overly smug know-it-all trying to explain LOLCODE without sounding like an idiot.

Haha, wow. Yeah, it works much better if you actually read the LOLCODE site to get an idea of how it works as a scripting language, both on and off the web.

It's hilarious to see Wikipedia use the word "brainfuck" 45 times in an article.

Why are you using pencil and paper, when you could use the open source LOL OS, a complete LOLCODE re-code of Google Chrome OS?

This is why I think C++ and Java are dead, their syntax is a failure compared to this!

LOLCODE is just awesome. And quite hard to program in, still. ^^
