3d Pictures

Post by loki J Lo » Sat Jul 09, 2005 8:13 pm

I downloaded blender and I've been making pointless pictures like crazy. I was putting them up somewhere else, but it was kind of off topic so I made somewhere else to put them, and if an one else makes them, put them up to.

Heres two:

Heres somthing I had been working on, on and off and has yet to be finish. Just a concept, but you could tell I went crazy when I made the character model adding a ton load of polygons to the arms. But keep in mind those are not actually arms but part of a coat/ outfit. Next I need to model the head, I did this the cheap way by shaping a head with a sphere as you can tell in the first picture.

@Andin: 2nd is very nice, does your package support hair? It appears that you modeled it yourself O.o

The third one looks promising too.

Well, it has alpha mapping, and the "hair" is made using planes (flat polygons). No cheating using any hair plugins here ;D

The third was just made for fun, I don't see much use of it though.
Thanks for the comments :)

I WAS talking about your character model up there ;)

I like it... but it's just too early to say much about it, just keep modeling at it, it seems promising!

Thanks. Now what I have left is making the body and pants.. Those 2 screenshots were just the clothes and the head.
