That cat is so awesome.
Also, I like the giant board thingy with strings on it. Looks classy.

Cinnamon (my cat) is awesome! She's one of the smartest cats I've ever known. She also behaves a lot like a dog, which is kinda strange. Licks people, comes when I call, greets me outside the house when walking up, isn't scared of new people, etc.

The instrument is called a Gu Zheng http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guzheng and is a lot of fun to play. It also happens to sound amazing. I've used it on a couple projects recently, and was very happy with the results.

What kind of guitar is that acoustic?

The head looks strangely similar to mine ... as does the pattern around the sound hole ...

However mine has a different bridge and awkward body shape to it compared to other guitars

It's actually just a fairly cheap Takamine classical guitar. Surprisingly, it makes for some really cool recordings with a more "vintage" sound to it.

I listened to this, and you're right, it does sound pretty amazing.

Mine doesn't sound quite like that... at least not in my hands... (She is an awesome player!) I also keep mine detuned, which creates very interesting glissandi, but makes it harder to play the melodic stuff she does.
