Thanks guys! I thought everyone knew this by now... I guess the blog posts aren't as closely read as I thought...

The Old Republic looks like it could be cool. I'm hoping to try it at some point (although no Mac support...). If you do buy it, you'll have to let me know how the music comes across in game. :)

Does the Non Disclosure Agreement you signed not stipulate that in every post you have to indicate that the game will be amazing?

Will keep an ear to the speaker for your music.

Heh... maybe it should... maybe it should...

Although, to be honest, I never signed an official NDA. :o

Im kinda surprised ariehl doesnt have 2 monitors ...

I can barely stand surfing the web with only one monitor. Let alone working ... when im working i have about 5 different windows open in different spots across 3 monitors :? ...

Admittedly, I'm looking to buy a second monitor soon... although the 23" screen I have has served me well. Probably up next is a 27" and then I'll be ok for a while...

if you use two monitors at once you won't know how to go back

Im actually thinking about buying a third monitor (lol) ... problem is your nerdiness seems to directly correlate to how awesome your PC is, so im a bit conflicted :P ...

I've certainly lived with two monitors many times in my life... the issue for me starts to be combining speakers, screens, mixers, instruments, preamps... and on and on...
Two screens work well for most musicians, as we can keep the mixer and plugins on one, and the editing section on the other. I can tell you that I would never work with my editing space across two screens.
Also, since I do a lot of music for film and stuff, my TV (not in the picture) is also hooked up to my computer, so all my video plays out the TV as I'm working.
I think the main thing for me is making sure that I have a good large single screen that holds the main thing I'm working on.

Atleast you focus more that way. I find that playing a game while watching a movie and browsing cheats for the game results in unfocused movie watching.

Isn't that keyboard one of those standard microsoft keyboards?

I do that too ... i will often spend hours watching a 30 minute show because i keep restarting the show while playing games on my other monitor ...

Somehow, i keep expecting to be able to pay attention to both ... but that never really happens :?
