edit2:
The post that isn't went something like this:

I didn't mean to say that! I meant that I don't like the stuff discussed here: forum games, fps games, music, movies. When I post stuff about martial arts, drawing, 3D, games I like, others aren't interested. There are some cool guys around, but also many like andrige or m3nace who post some really cool stuff and then disappear. I'm just saying you shouldn't judge the whole forum by randomness; if I did I wouldn't be here.

I think I might help you out with that.

That setting is set to "No" by default.

If that doesn't work, the forum has the Signature function turned off completely.

Its like a horrible strobe light in your face that mocks you while you stare at it.

My avatar is from the Japanese program Vocaloid.
Vocaloid is decent. The only two songs I can really get into are Rolling Girl and World is Mine. The rest annoy the hell out of me.
The version of Fukirette by Lon isn't bad either.

I never quite understood the personification of "vocaloids" into anime characters nor the popularity of them ...

Maybe it just helps sell the product :? ...

It took me about a year before I realized hatsune miku wasn't a character from some random popular anime ...

Correct. Signatures are disabled at the Wolfire forums. See viewtopic.php?f=1&t=760&p=10548&hilit=w ... res#p10548.

(And don't be scared by the fact that I actually have a sig. We can't all be the same.)

That's pretty much it. Hatsune is pretty much a mascot of the software. Although now there's a bunch of different voices you can get all personified by different characters.

Basicly it's just nice marketing that anime fans happened to like so they turned it into an Anime
(Black Rock Shooter FYI )
