Had to revive this thread to post about Killzone :3
This is quite a pretty little piece. There's a nice shift from the violin to a more orchestra dealie at about 1 minute in, and you can hear some subtle electronic beats in the background, then it all fuses together to make one of the cooler themes I've ever heard. Not exactly mind-blowing but I thought it fit the game really well. The menu theme as well as the main theme of the game.
This song is in the official trailer as well as the game itself, and I thought it was really quite a beautiful, if somber, piece. Woefully short, though
And, since I bought KZ2 after having a blast with KZ3, I felt it fitting to post its main theme here, which is slightly John Williams-esque near the beginning, but it kicks into a uniqueness around the halfway mark.
All in all, not every song is unique or astounding, but the soundtrack is well done, and it serves its purpose and then some. An 8/10 overall from me.
Also a blast from the past: this game is probably only known to flight sims enthusiasts from the early '90s, but it was a fun game and had a kick-ass soundtrack
Edit:
don't know how I missed that typo.

I really like that second song, sounds really cool.
Cladun: This is an RPG
Battlefield (Original and 8-bit)
Slicing the Wind (Original and 8-bit)
Cladun is this awesome action-parody-RPG in standard Nippon Ichi Software style where you grind the crap out of everything, but the soundtrack is awesome, and you could switch between the original music and 8-bit style at will. Personally, I'm more of a fan of the original music but the 8-bit music fits the style of the game.
God Eater Burst
No Way Back ~Out of My Way~
Cry of Grief
God and Man -Vocal Version-
...and more God Eater Burst because the soundtrack is just that awesome.
