ok, I want to make a simple 3d game on my macintosh g4,
I allready have
maya unlimited 6.5 and
photoshop creative suite 2
what else do i need to make a game.
Do i need to learn a certain type of programming, and if I do, where can i learn this?
then how do i put it all together.
I know its a huge question, but i really want to make a game, no matter how long it takes.
or does anyone know a site theat explains all this
so what programming languages do i need to learn, and is there a free place online to learn it?[/b]

There are a couple software solutions that purport to make this process easier, iGame3d leaps to mind. It provides the game engine for you to plug your content into, and it can be customized with JavaScript.
If you want to make your OWN game however, you will have to learn to program.
I suggest getting a book on C or C++, and writing a simple 2d game before you delve into the hell that is 3d game programming.

can you use c or c++ on mac???
if its not too hard i want to make it compatable with pc and mac, if its too hard, just mac
i cant find igame3d for download?

iGame3D is not yet available. I suggest Xcode available with Panther and Tiger or available for download through Apple's ADC service

YES! Just not right now...it takes time...about 20 people have asked that on iDG already...
