Never, that's right!

1. Who gives a fuck? Oh no, I used it illegally, big whoop-dee-fucking-doo, that's a stupid rule. Did you really scan the entire Steam Subscriber Agreement? None of it actually matters. How silly. And no, HE OWNS the Steam Account, I OWN the copy of Half Life 2. I don't understand how hard this is for you to understand.Venatir wrote:Did you know that it's against the Steam Subscriber Agreement to share accounts, or similar? It means that you used your brothers account illegaly. If he has HL2 on his account, HE owns the copy.
Downloading a pirated version is STILL illegal, even if you already own it.
Also, who cares about consoles?
Don't worry, he's one of those snobby PC-is-better-than-consoles types.Ozymandias wrote:A lot of people, apparently. Why do you think they're still around?Venatir wrote:Also, who cares about consoles?
I don't play TF2 so I wouldn't know, but if that's true, I sort of imagine Valve were PC developers to begin with, so they give their love towards that platform.Venatir wrote:When was the latest update for TF2 on xbox?

Portables are nice I suppose, since they're pretty unique. Though, I only have a DS and I don't really use it much.Grayswandir wrote:I love consoles, especially portables. They're like acorns, that you can take OUTSIDE.
If he got "your" copy of hl2 on his account, it is his now. One account and one user.Renegade_Turner wrote: 1. Who gives a fuck? 2. Who gives a fuck? Pirated copies are illegal, I really didn't know that, thanks for enlightening the forum with that already well-known piece of knowledge, I don't know how we'd get by without you here to tell us useless information like that. I'll get a pirated copy of games I own or have owned in the past with a clear conscience. Have a nice day, you wet blanket.
3. I care about consoles. XBox 360 is quite fun. =D
Jesus, that was difficult to not rip into him. I really resisted the urge there!

Peasant consoles users! They aren't fit to socialise with us PC users.

While I used to have very little respect for him, he's recently improved his standing in my eyes. The fact that he paid for the game doesn't make the Steam circumvention legal - but I don't think it's nearly as bad as straight-out pirating a game. It's like using a no-CD crack to avoid damaging your CDs or DVDs, or copying music from CDs to your computer and then to an mp3 player.Venatir wrote:When anyone makes a statement, we assume that he does not mean it illegally.
We do care if you downloaded a pirated version or not. When you bragging about piracy we lose all respect of you, even if it was tiny to start with.
That's a delicious typo! It's way too good to pass up! Please don't take this personally, I just like silly puns.I'm super serialFreshbite wrote:Venatir is just trolling, if that wasn't clear enough.

I always figured acorns were outside to begin with.

You DO know the Subscriber Agreement, since you've read it all before playing hl2, right?
Ps: It's called common sense

The only reason xbox exists at all is because of Halo, and it's only decent.
I wouldn't expect you to have respect for anyone over the internet, so the fact that I now have some respect is exceptional.Endoperez wrote:While I used to have very little respect for him, he's recently improved his standing in my eyes. Funny seeing the way the giving their love towards the platform they began with works seeing as how neither bungie nor activision showed their loyalty to pc's and macs.Ozymandias wrote:I don't play TF2 so I wouldn't know, but if that's true, I sort of imagine Valve were PC developers to begin with, so they give their love towards that platform.Venatir wrote:When was the latest update for TF2 on xbox?

A huge amount of the other developers, on the other hand...

Loyalty? What loyalty? You go to where the money is. Money is in console gaming right now.Count Roland wrote:Funny seeing the way the giving their love towards the platform they began with works seeing as how neither bungie nor activision showed their loyalty to pc's and macs.
