Windows has much higher quality software than Macs. Don't get the quality of a program confused with how pretty it looks. I will grant you that Mac programs often have a more consistent interface, but I often have a problem matching the functionality of my PC on my Mac. Sometimes there is no replacement at all for a Windows program.

The PPC processor is overperforming.
A 1,8 GHZ PPC processor (as mine) can compete compete almost with the double speed of an PC processor.

Aha, no.
The mac mhz myth is just that, a myth.
With a Mac and PC of the same mhz rating the mac might perform slightly better, but it's far from the often repeated 2:1.
This is just a theory though, I'd be happy to test it with any mac user who is interested.
