Arch Enemy, Cynic Project, Epica, Audioslave, (a little bit) Metallica, Lacuna Coil, Blind Guardian, Lullacry, Chopin, Dmitry Shostakovich,
and Mahler.
I like classical music, along with heavy metal, techno, melodic heavy metal, and hard rock.

fav songs on metal;
lacuna coil - swamped
godsmack - I stand alone
a perfect circle - the outsider (resident renhold remix) (has to be the remix)
marilyn manson - seizure of power
marilyn manson - resident evil main theme (I know.. not *ahum* 100% metal)
a whole lot of slipknot
and probably some more...

other than that I got a huuuuuuuuuge list of songs/artists I love that makes trance, hard trance, goa, psy, chillout, ambient, etc. etc. and other stuff. but it's waaay to huge to put in here...

can atleast mention I'm listening to some muses rapt now, but other than that this weeks fav artist has to be astral projection, and the fav song has to be astral projection - mahadeva (john '00' flemmings remix)!

hdsla & evil;
whoever say I got bad taste in music says that everything except pop sucks. Pop sucks... pop is NOT good.

oh, and I don't listen to metal, but I was continuing the list of songs I knew. and slipknot is not bad music. :/
(it can be discussed, but it's about taste, and I'm getting tired of all people going around saying "omg, he likes this and that and doesn't like the other stuff! BAD TASTE!!!111 omg!" <= very childish.)

F : Foo Fighters, Frank Zappa, Franz Ferdinand
G : Green Day, Guns N' Roses
H : Horslips, Howie Day
I : Iron Maiden
J : James Blunt, Jason Becker, Jay-Z, Jeff Buckley, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Joe Satriani, Joe Walsh
K : Kano, Kanye West, Kings Of Leon, Kiss
L : Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd
M : Marcel Coenen, Marvin Gaye, Metallica, Michael Jackson
N : Nas
O : Ozzy Osbourne
P : Paddy Casey, Pearl Jam, Pink Floyd, Planxty, Prince
Q : Queen, Queens Of The Stone Age, Queensryche
R : Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Rory Gallagher, Rush, Rusty Cooley
S : Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Stevie Wonder, Sting & The Police, Stormrider, Styx, Sun Caged, Supertramp, Symphony X
T : T Rex, Ted Nugent, The Clash, The Doors, The Eagles, The Hives, The Killers, The Kinks, The Libertines, The Offspring, The Temptations, The White Stripes, The Who, Time Machine, Tool, Tupac

If you disagree with any of these bands/artists, and think they are not good musicians, then you are wrong. I am always right. That is a certainty.
