129 Update problem
Everything seems to be working fine for me, the new sounds and texture for sharpness and the glint of light when the weapon is far away, however no matter what i try, the blades will not stick into any object, i even tried as shown in the video by using the map editor to simply drop it into wood and still nothing.
Is anyone else having this problem?

Re: 129 Update problem
Yeah, i have the same thing, i think there is something with the update files, would be awesome if the changes file was updated, but it is ok, i'm still having fun with all the other features, especially with the one from Alpha 128 =)
So, you know that you can download the full build, it takes much longer, but the new feature most likely works there, but yeah, lets hope for a new update file =)

Re: 129 Update problem
Yep, same thing.
Re: 129 Update problem
I tried both the update and the full download, and couldn't get anything to stick... so I don't think it's a problem with the update version...

Re: 129 Update problem
So, now things are a bit more clear, so, it's fine, anyway the feature is still implemented and is awesome! =D

Re: 129 Update problem
Yeah but does the developing team know this because i really wanna throw knives into trees!
Re: 129 Update problem
I also can't get anything to stick And the dog spear is flipping out on me. First time I tried spawning it, it started flying around all over the place. Second time, it fell through any objects and through the map. Why have you forsaken my useless weapons, devs? WHY!?
Edit: My gameplay also seems a bit more stop-startish. Haven't had a single fight any hiccups yet... Had plenty of seamless fights last alpha.
Less FPS than usual DDDD:

Re: 129 Update problem
Interesting, I noticed the exact opposite - my gameplay has been smoother this time round than last time, which stuttered badly for 20 minutes before i got a BSOD
Re: 129 Update problem
This is really strange. I got an average of 30 fps in my custom map with 6 characters in it (excluding me) and now I get ~10 fps. That's a horrible drop! Even after i uninstalled the Old China model pack which seemed to be causing a bit of a drop in performance. It's still really low compared to before.
Re: 129 Update problem
What specs are you using? I'm using a GTX 460, which I noticed on the supported cards thread was previously noted to crash the drivers (perhaps something changed that dropped performance overall but removed a bottleneck on this particular card?)

David posted 2 extra files that should fix sticking problem and a dogspear problem

Yeah i just put these new files in and everything is working fine now, I did a test and the only weapons that stick are the bastard sword, and the two new cat weapons, is this correct?
