Question:
since it's my first update, what do I do with the update file?

Thanks :)

Windows.

for now I tried to drag the "Data" folder into the "Data" folder in the "overgrowth" folder.
when I try to open Overgrowth.exe it says there is a file missing.

I would suggest you use the SUMLauncher, as it will handle updates for you.

In order for it to work now that you've merged some of the files, you should open the version.xml file located at Overgrowth/Data/version.xml, and change the "version" field back to 17900. Then run the SUMLauncher, and hit the "Update Alpha" button :)

One more question (kinda OT)..
Will wolfire add "overgrowth" to Steam?
if they will, people who bought the game, will have to buy it for having it on steam?

Yes, Overgrowth will be on steam eventually. And if I'm not mistaken, people who preordered the alpha will get the Linux, Windows, Mac, AND Steam versions. :D

I can tell that with this new Linux release, they will start focusing on bugs for such OS, and no new additions... :?
Anyways, this is amazing, no more lag for me at all! Woo!

I have been following Overgrowth for quite some time now. And bought it because of the Linux support. Thanks!

arch linux here. i don't know what happened to this a180 but all maps are taking place during night - i only can see shadows. then rabbit sometimes seems to get stuck in midair and the fps is really bad (already lowered details). a179 has been better in this respect.. anyone else could confirm seeing similar?

Definite improvement on the Linux version. I can play it now. That always helps.

I had a crash early on, but haven't been able to reproduce it, so can't say it was the game itself.

Being that there's no SUMlauncher yet, how do you make it go full screen? I tried settings and manually changing the config.txt. Do I need to also tell it my resolution? I had figured full screen means go full resolution.

I've got no seeds for the Linux version right now, and I only have 400MB of it :( Please seed that if you can

I've had a seed up for a while. It says there's 10 of us. For what it's worth.
