It says "Cannot run process OvergrowthWorker.exe" Which means our overgrowthworker.exe fiIe is corrupt. Asking another person to upIoad his so we can download it seems to be a sensible way. Unless each file is unique to its own key, then idk.mastersrp wrote:What are you talking about?Devilsclub wrote:Another fix: Tho i dont know if it will work,
Someone who has alpha 181 working, can upload a copy of his overgrowthworker.exe file and we replace ours with his. This MAY fix the problem tho idk if it will. If someone can volunteer it would be great.
If overgrowthworker.exe is already shipped with the alpha build, it's not going to be different on any computer, whatsoever, unless you change something about it and recompile it, which isn't possible without the source code.

The reason it cannot run that process is because there is a space in the path to your application, not because the file is corrupt. David posted a fix here. You should replace your Overgrowth.exe file with the one he links to, and that should solve your problem.Devilsclub wrote:It says "Cannot run process OvergrowthWorker.exe" Which means our overgrowthworker.exe fiIe is corrupt. Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a181, weekly build
Having a problem with my game crashing while adding objects to the map while loading. Doesn't matter which map it is, custom or not. Crashes every time. Checked the loader window, doesn't look like it's crashing on a particular file. No error, just "Overgrowth.exe has stopped working"
Any ideas?
*EDIT*
Sometimes it crashes loading textures, sometimes loading skeletons. Still no case error or any popup window, just a crash.

"Creating OS Process"
And that just stays there indefinitely. Anyone else got this problem? Easy solution?

I have the same problem. When it's loading it crashes. I might just try deleting the ALL of the Wolfire file and download alpha 180 againCombustible_Lemons wrote:Having a problem with my game crashing while adding objects to the map while loading. Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a181, weekly build
Does anyone have a clue what's going on here? While trying to install under Ubuntu 12.04 I get the following error, already being 3/4 through the installing process.
http://imgur.com/c9aKa
(Translation: "No more disc space available on this device.")
Weird, every partition has at least >50Gb left.
Same for a180, btw.

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a181, weekly build
The EXE that was uploaded as a fix doesn't work for me, I still get the Create OS Process OvergrowthWorker.exe error.
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a181, weekly build
If you installed it to the default location, you can always use this workaround instead: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=15495&start=15#p166172Zetsumeii wrote:The EXE that was uploaded as a fix doesn't work for me, I still get the Create OS Process OvergrowthWorker.exe error.

So does this fix the windows bugs and allow us to use it?
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a181, weekly build
My game starts up fine but when i load a level it stops working almost immediately.
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a181, weekly build
I think you may have the same problem as i have heregauge45 wrote:My game starts up fine but when i load a level it stops working almost immediately.

That doesn't work for me either. It opens up the program but I still get the same error.Anton wrote:If you installed it to the default location, you can always use this workaround instead: viewtopic.php?f=13&t=15495&start=15#p166172Zetsumeii wrote:The EXE that was uploaded as a fix doesn't work for me, I still get the Create OS Process OvergrowthWorker.exe error.

All of these fixes don't work for me.
