Unofficial Overgrowth a200 build
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a200 build
So thoughts about the new models, I like the look of the new males and females for the most part, but they all have fat fingers. Mostly the females, http://imgur.com/6KF1j3P The female hand on the far right, new male hand in the middle, and raider hand on the far left.
Also, for the new male rabbit, theirs is no spacing between the toes, it all just looks flat. And the female feet are pretty big for my liking. http://imgur.com/kSWZwSJ Just a very few things that I wanted to point out. I'm pretty picky with character models. Not sure why. The texture work is very well done I think.

The colored blood is cool and all, but now we lose the default red blood. I can set it to 1.00 and it's an overbright of the red, or I can set it to 0.00 and it's all black, no in between.

You can reset it to 0.5, I had to because my blood, no matter what I did, was bright orange.

I honestly don't know what to say about the new running animation other than, it needs more work. I think that time would have been better spent animating more weapons so their are more weapons working in the game, like the hammer.

I like the new running animation! In fact, getting running animations done right (and jumping—I think David needs to work on the jumping!) in third person games is an incredibly understated (well, at least for those who don't create games) way of making simple actions pleasurable to a player's eye. The way characters lean forward at the start of a run is especially great.

Sorry about the Windows download link not working -- should be fixed now!

Turns out, that feature actually is in the alpha, you just need to add 4 characters set as players.akazi wrote:It's not in the alpha yet, they just posted it to say what is in progress.Rmistry wrote:Does anyone how one would activate this mode?Jeff wrote: - starting to test out 4-player shared-screen mode

Huh! Well awesome.
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a200 build
Now if only we could connect 4 players at once.

can you actually control em?Rmistry wrote:Now if only we could connect 4 players at once.
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a200 build
The answer is yes, but you probably need at least 3 controllers (+ keyboard/mouse) connected to the computer (or 4 controllers). Right now, OG only supports one controller configuration though, so they all need to be the same controller for everyone to play "fairly".shadowb297 wrote:can you actually control em?Rmistry wrote:Now if only we could connect 4 players at once.
