Hey guys! There is going to be a lot of alpha news coming fast! I just sent out an email which will include your unique alpha code that you must use to log into your Alpha 1 copy. Please keep this secret!
Sorry for the annoying authentication -- this will soon get a lot easier with the UI stuff we are working on, however, the 500 Facebook members caught us off guard. You guys really were motivated to get that alpha.
More information coming soon - stay tuned.
Here are the download links.

Don't expect too much, neh? It's only alpha 1. Don't expect any player models to be seen yet xP

Have had several crashes now, here are two that i remember.
crash 1:
step 1: press load
step 2: try to load the only xml file i could find in a overgrowt subfolder
step 3: close the abort message
step 4: the menu thing was suddenly following my mouse movement with no buttons held
step 5: clicking the mouse, crash
crash 2:
step 1: scale the rock to a two dimensional rock
btw, the scale is way to reactive, good that ctrl+z exists or the scale tool would have been unusable
step 2: look at the rock from the side, crash.(another one was similar where i made the rock into a green line and when i moved the camera it crashed(could have deselected the moment it crashed))
The shadows on the mountains are strange too, are they supposed be totally black?
Edit: the scale tool is a crash monster, a small nudge with the mouse and the editor crashes
