The Alpha 5 leaked build is here! A "leaked build" is when John and I literally grab the latest SVN build and package it up for you guys. It is not necessarily condoned by David, Phillip, and Aubrey, but we want to keep you guys in the loop and give you stuff to play with regularly!

New in this version
- a bunch of art assets from Aubrey
- multiplayer chat implemented
- some new terrain stuffs
For more details, wait for the blog post tomorrow.

P.S. be sure to delete your shadow caches! Just delete the whole Program Files/Wolfire Games/Overgrowth directory and you should be fine.

For Mac OS X, the cache lives at ~/Library/Application Support/Lugaru 2/Data/.

Also, press P to toggle wireframe stuff.

Wow! The environment and lightning in this new alpha is really cool! Great skybox as well.
But I seem to be having some wireframe-issues.

I can never get these to work .... I can't even get it installed. Keeps telling me there's already a version installed. I haven't tried anything except for the very first release ... Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong ...

I tried to go through and delete the Overgrowth files ... I also tried just uninstalling it ...

MightyWarriorEX, download the alphabuild 1 installer again, run it and choose remove application, then you can install the new one.
