Is there any hint or confirmation about how many animals will be in the game?

We won't be disappointed and it won't only end up being rabbits, wolves, bears, rats and cats, right?

We know that rabbits, rats, cats, and wolves are confirmed, haven't heard about anything else though. like I said before, I wouldn't mind seeing only the story-based races in the storyline, and the 'other' races in the multiplayer etc.

You're right. Substance above quantity. I think that many substance-ful races would be pretty damn wicked, though. But hey, if they don't make it in, I might try to make them.

Actually the choice was between multiplayer or water. I'm sure if they can make 4 player models then they can add at least 1 more (maybe more) without it being too much trouble. It might even help them experiment with stuff like the procedural animation, or fur shaders for ridiculously long fur.

Well, since we're suggesting extinct animals, may I be the first to suggest dinosaurs? I know it sounds campy and cliche, but trust me, there are still some cool, unique dinosaurs that could definitely find their place in the world of Overgrowth. For example,
