Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher - 2.1.1
I enter my pre-order key, but it says invalid. I have unblocked from my AV software, triple checked the code (in the tutorial it says 8 letter key, mine is 10 letters). It's just not working for me.
Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher - 2.1.1
Yeah, I heard as much yesterday. If I'm not mistaken Aaron will be rolling out a SUMLauncher update soon.Xair wrote:My alpha has 10 characters also, i think this might be new to players who have recently bought the game. (Will not work for me either) One of the devs said that they were migrating to a new system recently.cunz91 wrote:how comes i have an alpha key that has 10 characters instead of 8 after the last "/" ? it will not work...
Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher - 2.1.1
I can't start sumlauncher cause my key is like xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx. What I should do?

Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher - 2.1.1
Wolfire has updated their system to now use the humble bundle store (which is great for A LOT of people) but it means that we need to roll out a new version of SUMLauncher to authenticate in a new way... we are working on it now, and will have a new update out soon!

Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher - 2.1.1
I can't get it to work, I just bought the game and when SUMLauncher asks for SPF Key, i put it in and then it says ERROR: INVALID KEY... mumble grumble...
also, my url is different than the one in the instructions for redeeming mine is:
http://www.wolfire.com/spf/redeem/(then a 15 digit key)
Where am i going wrong?

Please read my response to this issue, one reply in this thread before yours.Mother Gerald wrote:I can't get it to work, I just bought the game and when SUMLauncher asks for SPF Key, i put it in and then it says ERROR: INVALID KEY... mumble grumble...

EDIT:
This might work instead: Your key is listed on your Overgrowth download page (this is new since migrating to HumbleBundle as a distribution method) you can find it by clicking on your page here:
Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher - 2.1.1
But it still says invalid key!!! D:
Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher - 2.1.1
Then you'll have to wait until we update SUMLauncher. We have to authenticate from a new location now, so we have to change our code. Give our developers a little time, and we'll get it out to you. (There will be an update in this thread, or at our twitter account @sumogutilities when that update goes live...)Ezio907 wrote:But it still says invalid key!!! D:

Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher - 2.1.1
SUMLauncher 2.1.2 Alpha is now available:
You can grab the new version by running the SUMLauncher and choosing to update when prompted (new users can find downloads in the first post).
Johannes Edit: If you still experience the 'invalid key' issue then you will need to remove your old sum.jar file. For instructions on how to do that please check the first post
Code: Select all
• Added support for new authentication system.
• Fixed currently selected config item not saving on cmd/ctrl-s.
• Removed extraneous error messages when no internet connection available.
• Added retry button when tweets fail to load.

Re: [Auto Updater] SUMLauncher - 2.1.1
Was this supposed to fix the invalid key problem since it says support for new authentication system?Aaron wrote:SUMLauncher 2.1.2 Alpha is now available:

Yes, though users who had the issue before the update need to clear out an old file - please see the message in the first post for details (at the top, red letters).dragonboykai wrote:Was this supposed to fix the invalid key problem since it says support for new authentication system?
