I would actually like to see that as a core gameplay mechanic rather than a mod. It would open up a box of awesome possibilities. Perhaps for a few levels Turner could go blind and have to navigate by his other senses... with that in place, someone could mod an entire campaign as an old blind LugarFu master.

Yeah, I was imagining a cave level for example. Where turner's hearing is all that matters. Fighting, I dunno, bats or something. Other senses would also allow you to equalize against a more powerful opponent by luring them somewhere where you have the advantage.

You could then also mess with enemy senses (throwing rocks to distract them for example). I always noticed the wind in Lugaru, and I'm not sure if it effected how your enemies reacted, but that kind of feature would be really fun.

be cool if there was a mod that made all the little forest creatures turn into humans
although the animations would be very unhuman it would look weird i guess

I don't know if they evolved into people I suppose their animations maybe could evolve too. (lol)
