I just bought Overgrowth this morning, and it seems I a m not able to open the .exe file I just downloaded. When I double click the icon, the windows loading animation pops out, and nothing more happens.

I'm on Vista Ultimate 32 bits, and I've got more or less 14 Gb of free space in this hard drive.

Thanks for any idea.
I think 14 gig should be enough to extract the files, perhaps try compatibility mode? Or maybe get a program that can extract the files, like 7-zip? I don't know how OG goes supporting vista/win7 but it shouldn't be a problem.

You could also try re-downloading, or downloading the torrent instead, you might have got a corrupted download. If that doesn't work then try an earlier build, it might be a problem with the current vista support.

But it shouldn't be happening anyway so definitely let the team know.

Thanks for your answer. It only seemed I wait not enough time.
The installer worked, but I have now a new problem : when I launch the Overgrowth.exe file, I've got a window named Phoenix which only says : "Error : file not found".

Ok, I think I know what happened : I installed the game in a subdirectory with a accent (d:\Jeux\Indépendants\Overgrowth) (I'm french, this path is similar to d:\Games\Indies\Overgrowth)
I uninstalled the game, and installed it again in d:\Jeux, and it seems there is no problem left.

Using non-standard characters is usually a bad idea for file/folder naming. I also try to avoid spaces...

The standard ascii table: http://bestofthisweb.com/blogs/wp-conte ... table2.jpg

When in a country that uses accents, it's not rare to name folders and files with accents.
All software I know work perfectly with these settings, so it's good to know (If it wasn't known yet) that it's an issue.

I am also getting the "There is no movement object -1" crash when pressing the left mouse button when there are no enemies around to hit.

this would be very convenient
I vote for this option too, :-P

Has anyone else noticed the bug that crashes OG when you try to grab the edge of a wall or building by right clicking in the new build? The error i keep getting is:

"There is no movement object -1"

I don't have this error, but the character sometimes keeps animating like he's grabbing the edge again and again.

Hmmmm, might be because i've been stacking so many update files on this build. I'll try re downloading the full game.
