How can we tell what Alpha version we're currently running?

I only ask because I missed a few updates here and there and I don't want to download and install the whole new game with every update, I prefer just the changes.

The current alpha is always in the title of one of the stickied threads here on the SPF. It's currently alpha 151.

No, no. I mean how can I tell what alpha version I currently have? I know the current alpha is 151, but what if I was still on a149 and missed a few updates? How could I tell what alpha version I have on my computer?

if you are computer with windows there is a file called version.xml under overgrowth/data folder
if you are running on Mac there may be same file in same place but i am not shure

Specifically, the \Program Files\Wolfire\Overgrowth\Data\ folder.
