SUMLauncher uses official settings from Wolfire to push the latest builds automatically, so it is up to the Wolfire team to make it available. Since it is still a pre-build and not fully ready for deployment, I don't think this will be happening. There is also no differences zip files, which means it won't be a simple "update" but would require only full installs. Since people are still having download issues right now, they would also have those in SUMLauncher. My suggestion is to either wait for the official a195 (I would imagine there will be one this weekend) or if you need to try the pre-build, download it from the forum post as described.

Can't connect to the SUM servers.

Had no issues before.
I've added SUMLauncher to my firewall's 'Trusted' group.(Using Kaspersky Internet Security 2013)

Not at all sure what the issue could be. The launcher fails to connect to the internet every time I try. Yes, my broadband works fine, :P

Found my issue. Kaspersky blocks all Java apps due to the vulnerability.

I'd suggest you rebuild SUMLauncher with a non-Java code base since there is a major vulnerability but I assume you don't want to spend time doing that so I guess I'll just pause Kaspersky every time I want to update the Menu Mod.

(Not going to exclude Java from scanning though if there's an issue. Pretty sure it'd be somehow safer to just pause Kaspersky and not do anything else online :P)

Unfortunately, it's not so easy to just rebuild without Java, since the entire application is written in Java (also, the vulnerability only exists for Java applets, i.e. browser based Java applications, which you can disable). Oracle released a patch for the recent exploit, so make sure your copy of Java is up to date - http://java.com/download.

The patch doesn't cover all of the major vulnerabilities according to multiple anti-virus groups and a few governments. So not sure it's a good idea to rely on it. :P

But I didn't know that the vulnerabilities only affected browser applets. I guess it's a good idea to just disable Java in Chrome then. Thanks. I'll just exclude Java in Kaspersky's firewall, then disable Java browser applets. :)

I have downloaded SUMlauncher, and used it to download Overgrowth.
When I hit "Launch Overgrowth" nothing happens. No errors, no other windows, nothing. The game won't open and there are no messages telling me why not. Has anyone had this/know how to fix it?

Try to run the game without SUM launcher, see if you get some errors then.
