Let me ask you this first. Did you made search in this forum before you posted your question here? Oh and there is a topic about that right here in the first page of this forum about that already "Change Look of the character".
Also do you know that there is a OG wiki http://wiki.wolfire.com/index.php/Portal:Overgrowth (this wiki topic is even a sticky for easy access at the top of the first page of this forum named Overgrowth Wiki) that some people are working on to help others? I think you should read it and you may find all the answers there if not the next best place to ask is Wolfire IRC channel http://www.wolfire.com/irc

Quick question, the in game configuration menu that was added in a couple of alphas back doesn't seem to want to work for me, all of the pulldown menus have multiple instances of "meep#2" I believe it says, I'm not currently at my computer right now. I'm just wonderng if this is a known probem or if it's just me. Thanks!

The in game settings have not been hooked up yet. You are able to update the settings in real time now, but not in game.

Why is there some maps missing? (eg. i can't see Lugaru challenge maps)
I can't either see custom maps on the launcher?

Did i did something wrong?

Did you download and update the SUM launcher?

Not all of the maps appear by default. In order to enable them in the menu, you can use the SUMLauncher (a community made tool) to install the Menu Mod, which also includes a ton of user-made content (currently over 70 maps, and around 600mb). Additionally, the SUMLauncher can update your Overgrowth build for you each week with the push of a button.
