This it for the combat?

Post by SweenMachine » Thu Mar 29, 2012 10:20 am

Is this all we're going to see for the combat, just the standing roundhouse and the crouching sweep (this seems to be all my character does whether I am moving or standing still)? Or will there be more moves added as the game gets developed, like the double-punch and wall-jump kick I've seen clips of recently? Also, any chance of countering/grappling and aerial techniques?

There are some counters. Like there is a counter for judo throw and there is also dodge moves for kicks, sweep and sword fight. There are also punches and judo throw and weapon throwing and fighting

There have been discusions about some new moves like a spin kick in mid-air, execution moves and there are more but I can't remember right now. :P

Awesome! About the weapon throwing, I have 'pick up weapon' bound to E, and 'throw weapon' bound to Q. In-game however, E does nothing and Q picks up the weapon, and I can't seem to find a way to throw it; the only way to get rid of the weapon is to crouch and hit Q again so he drops it. Any ideas?

Throwing a weapon is only possible when in combat. If you are standing in front of an enemy who is aware of your presence press Q to throw your weapon at him.
You can (un)seize one handed weapons by pressing E.
