The new freezing option when double-tabbing

This really annoys me because I'm a fast tabber for epic slow motion kicks and punches, tackling, even lightning shooting, but this update just screws it all up!
Is there any way to turn it off? Any way at all? I hate it. I want it gone. Sure other people do.
What they game-makers SHOULD do is add it to a key not being used right now.
Like 'K'. Or 'O'.

I'm still redownloading all my games as my computer died, so I haven't tried this yet, but couldn't you press tab once to go into slow-mo and then just double tap it again to resume?

Just wait for a sec, and then hit again.
If you just slap it twice, it goes into freezemode, its not that hard to avoid.

Ya, but if you want to go into fast slow motion effects (of awesomeness ) you can't and it gets annoying.
