Post by oldmanrabbit » Tue Jan 22, 2013 3:21 am

Just loaded the new Alpha and it won't let me type in the custom level box. Does anyone else have this problem?

Yah that doesn't do anything. The boxes are just messed up.

This bug is fixed for the next alpha.

The text input actually works while you're moving the mouse, which is quite funky :).

It has already been fixed for the next alpha, so you'll probably just have to wait...

I'm having a problem where I can't save a level, and that the default levels when i added stuff to them in the 194 they disappeared in 195. Now when i try to save a level It doesn't work.

I posted a fix for levels not saving correctly:
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=17390&start=30#p185645

Also, if you are running the program from SUMLauncher, you will find the levels located at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Wolfire\Overgrowth\Data\Levels - this is a weird issue, but you should be able to find your level there.

I found a <Javascript> but not <Script>.
It includes this text in it:
<Javascript>
<LevelScript>Data/Scripts/timer_level_script.js</LevelScript>
</Javascript>

Is it safe to replace it with this? or do I have to manually add <Script>?

<Script>Data/Scripts/test_custom_level.as</Script>

That means you haven't saved the level in a195 yet, so it's probably not the level you were working on. Check that other location I mentioned.

The level timer script is what tells the game how long you have been playing since the level was last restarted. I think it's built into every level.
