Any tips on level design?

So I just made my first level, its a little versus thing on that tree valley bridge level thing with a bot.
It doesn't actually look like that, F8 screenshots mess up for some reason.

Have a look at it or mess around with it if you want. Uses SteelRaven7's wipeout hotspots.
So anyone got any help for me? Any way to make it harder? Any way to stop the AI from thinking its okay to walk on the side of the hexagon thing?
