More frequent updates does not mean there will be more stuff for us to play with. Quite the opposite, as releasing an update for the game takes time from David that he could spend on developing the game.

Games take years to make. Hell I bet Activision, Treyarch, or Sledgehammer is making CoD 15 right now.

I am happy with what I bought around nine months ago, but I've long stopped playing it.

I also feel like the pace has slowed down quite a bit.

I paid 30$, I got around 50 hours of enjoyment out of an alpha. That's very impressive. Sad that this game is in a time frame of around 2-5 years from now from being finished, if ever. If a206 is anything like a205, I would lean closer to the 5 than the 2.

I don't recommend this game when friends ask for my opinion. I tell them what I've seen, what I expect based off what I've seen, and they generally agree with me that it there are simply better things to buy for 30$.

My theory is that they've made to much money off this game. Lack of money can be a drive to finish and work harder. I don't blame them though, I certainly don't feel like I was cheated. The 70% game they've made is quite amazing.
