i need help

Post by pumphump » Sun Jun 01, 2014 6:18 am

the game was unplayable it was black and i couldn't see anything and it was slow as hell and it was very laggy, now the display problem is gone because i messed little bit with the sittings but the lag problem is even worse than it was, i don't know what is the frame rate but it seems like 2 or 3 fps
and the objects and building have a weird color i will attach a photo showing how the objects are.

also it keep saying that the (nav mesh) and the (ambient occlusion) and the (baked shadows) need update,i don't know how to do that.

please i need help!!!

and thanks.

On a machine running 32-bit Vista, I'd be surprised if it was capable of playing Overgrowth.

To update the settings you mentioned, click the "pathfinding" tab and you can update from there. Be aware though, that this can take a few minutes. Be patient.

Also, if you hit 'esc' twice then click on Settings, you can lower the graphics - try that to reduce the load on your machine.

Just to clarify, I had Vista up until January of this year, and it ran real nicely (40 FPS in 4 char fight), even with a 2006 AMD CPU and a Nvidia GT 220 at high settings but no foliage.

The operating system says next to nothing about a rig's performance in a game.

Could be something related to a bad port, but it's still Windows, so both his comment and mine were pointless.
