i cant make my dialogue apear when i get close to it

i have just finished a dialogue scene, but when i get close to it with my caracther it doenst play.
i have seen in youtube that you need a text box but how do i use that for my porpuse, i want my carachter to come to the specified place and then for the dialogue to start rolling, can someone help me?

You need to first link up the character number to your character (click the number on top then alt-click your character), then you need to go to Load Item, click the little folder, and then go to hotspots and select "start_dialogue".
Then click to place it where you want and press U on it, and type the name of your dialogue there.
Now, when the character walks in there the scene will start, and yes you can re-size it.

wait what number? if you mean the number above the dialogue box i did it already, and i dint get the scene it to work. i tiped inside the text box my dialogue name(Data/Dialogues/essa cenora.txt) but nothing happend. can you please be more specific?, and thanks for trying to help me.

Which text box? The dialogue scene (the one which you edited and has your lines), or the text hotspot that I said to load? In the text hotspot if you have it, type the name. The name is what you put at the top like

#name essaCenora(or whatever you put there)
#participants blah
say 1...


Btw, the blah/blah/blah.txt isn't the name, it's the file path.
