How to save levels

I need help, I push the Save Game button and it just freezes for a few secs, then nothing, I can't name it, and if I save it by leaving then leave, it just leaves a folder in my overgrowth file, and if I try to load it from the name NOTHING HAPPENS

You always edit the level you have opened and when you save it it will save the changes to exactly that level and it will overwrite this level's xml-file.

Is there any way not to overwrite ?

I'd like to try to create some simple versus maps but I wouldn't like to erase the already existing maps.

Copy paste the xml file of the level you want to edit, rename it and open it through the text field in the main menu.
