Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a226 build
Is the slow motion button not supposed to be a part of the main game? Because that is my favorite feature and I was really sad when it wasn't in the arena mode and I had to go into editor mode. I hope slow motion is just a debug tool. It 's just so fun to use

Yeah, being able to manually activate slow motion is not part of the main game.

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a226 build
This seems to be more stable than the last couple of builds. I'm not getting the exit glitches I was previously, disco fury seems to be gone (though that might be because I turned of some of the graphics options in previous builds before giving up and scurrying back to a213 and a200), and it seems to run a little better with a couple of lag points. It still makes my computer hotter than the fires of a thousand suns whenever I play, but even Lugaru's started doing that so I think it's just old.

Perupator, when was the last time you opened up the computer and blew it clean with compressed air?
I personally do it as a yearly thing on all my machines, as it's about that time things are getting really clogged.

And yes, i believe it is more stable!
It has been our focus to clean it up and not release until it reached a certain quality, rather than the old "release on a date, no matter the state" method we were trying out.

I did clean out my computer about a week ago after it had gotten really bad. It runs better but it still has overheating problems with more graphics intensive games.
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a226 build
Little nit pick about the tutorial. That kick in Turner's move set is not a spin kick, it's a roundhouse kick.

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a226 build
While a lot of stuff from the previous alpha's was fixed, I noticed that the staff weapon won't load, and the new lighting system seems to give all of the characters bright outlines no matter the lighting.
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a226 build
Disco mode is gone, new lightning is awful, FPS is even worse.
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a226 build
what is disco mode, whats wrong with the lighting?ScarXL wrote:Disco mode is gone, new lightning is awful, FPS is even worse.
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a226 build
At first I thought you meant disco as some kind of bug, but now I'm wondering if it were considered an 'unintentional feature', like the F key glitchery.

I was under the impression we had managed to improve the performance in a226. Can anyone else verify that the performance appears to be worse?

Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a226 build
It was a graphics Glitch that showed up in a223 on certain systems due to the new lighting, causing everything to repeatedly flash bright technicolor highlights. The rapidly changing colors made the game rather unpleasant to look at/play.akazi wrote:what is disco mode, whats wrong with the lighting?ScarXL wrote:Disco mode is gone, new lightning is awful, FPS is even worse.
Re: Unofficial Overgrowth a226 build
Quick question: is it just me whose slow-mo doesn't slow sound anymore?
