Controller support

Post by Kool_Whipp95 » Tue Feb 07, 2017 11:48 pm

Is there anyway to put custom button mapping on the controller? I'm currently using a ps4 controller with Ds4 but when I try to use custom buttons nothing works. I'm trying to use the flying mod with my controller a little more fluently that's all, plus it'd be nice to be able to just press down on my D-pad to reset a level rather than using the keyboard.

I'm sure it only works with Xbox controllers. (xbox 360 or one). Needs to be wired and only works on PC I'm sure.

Pretty sure that's 100% not true.

Unfortunately, I don't think you can remap editor keys to the controller.

Why are you using DS4 instead of using the controller directly with the game, without any extra software?

Specifically: Steam now supports the PS4 natively on Windows. You don't need extra software anymore, and in fact, it can break things.

It seems to me like the game itself has native support for the DualShock 4 controller. Works for me anyway!
