Lions don't live in the jungle. Lions live in the plains.

Tigers are more badass than Lions. And they actually live in the jungle. The Tiger is the king of the jungle

The mountain goat seems really cool, instead of running and tackling someone running away, you could just headbutt them to death. sweet!

Bats would be another cool option. I remember someone earlier mentioning how of all the flying creatures they would be the easiest to anthropomorphize because they are mammals and have distinct hands and everything, and I totally agree. Also, if true flying was too powerful, they could just glide, flying squirrel like, for the ultimate sneak attack. aerial combat also would be extremely badass.

Anyways, aside from anything specific the more diversity in races the better. Like, wolves/rabbits is fun, but if Overgrowth will have more (rats, cats, etc.) it would be great not just to have each race be slightly stronger or faster or whatever then the others. True difference in game play is what I'm looking for from different races. so the difference between a lion or a tiger seems relatively insignificant.

As far as I've been able to observe up to now, there's been no hints from the team wether there'll be flying/gliding animals, and yes, you will be able to add your own models.
