How To Get More Difficult Enemies in Arena Mode?

I took a long break from the game and when I came back there were a bunch of changes that I had to read about and catch up on from a few years of being inactive. I'm wondering what happened to the op ninja bunnies you get to fight in arena mode that get much more intense as you win and progress through the rounds. I missed fighting those much tougher enemies as they gave minimal lee way to take them down.

The arena levels can now be activated under the mod menu. So start the game, go to mods, activate the Wolfire arena mod, then go back to the main menu, press play and there should now be an "arenas" menu you can enter.
