You're wrong.Derakon wrote:The devs don't themselves have any PPC computers, so they weren't aware that their Universal Binaries weren't.
When reading the information of the application, you can read the type : "Application (Intel)".
Anyway, I hope it will be usable with PPC as soon as possible.

That actually doesn't mean to say they were aware of that.Tims wrote:You're wrong.Derakon wrote:The devs don't themselves have any PPC computers, so they weren't aware that their Universal Binaries weren't.

I know it might seem unlikely, but they're humans too, and humans make mistakes. Live with it. It's in the past. And the future holds Overgrowth!
Yes.Tims wrote:Anyway, I hope it will be usable with PPC as soon as possible.
Re: Alpha 1 links!

Re: Alpha 1 links!
My computer(G5 running 10.5.5) won't let me open it up, acting as if it's a "classic" application. Is there anything I can do, or will there just have to be a different version for this type of computer?
Re: Alpha 1 links!
Heh... this actually motivated me to preorder. I've been looking forward to an L2 (I suppose I should get into the habit of calling it Overgrowth now) alpha or even tech demo ever since David released the movement demo video.
Thanks for continuing the good work, guys. Looking forward to the eventual finished product.

Re: Alpha 1 links!
PowerPC support wasn't compiled in Alpha 1. Expect it in Alpha 2 or 3.Fr0stbite wrote:My computer(G5 running 10.5.5) won't let me open it up, acting as if it's a "classic" application. Is there anything I can do, or will there just have to be a different version for this type of computer?

If you install wine, then install the windows version of mono under wine, you can run it under wine and get the loading screen, where it freezes.

Re: Alpha 1 links!
Considering there is nothing to suggest that they have released it, no notices or anything, then no.
