Dude, that guy was for a game like Cabal? I love Cabal. Make the game!
Re: Future Game Ideas
I'm sure after they make Overgrowth, Black Shades 2, That dragon game and Soul of Steel, that then they might XDVrav wrote:Dude, that guy was for a game like Cabal? I love Cabal. Make the game!
Nah I kid, I'd love to see that too. I just meant that they have lotsa stuff they might be considering, we don't know which first. =)

I suppose this counts.Ninjas wrote:As the Count mentioned, I do indeed have some SOS art! I did a lot of images for this, evolving the look. The first image was pretty early on, and the last is more like the final look I imagined. The problem with the first image to me is not that the design is bad, but just generic:
I would personally really like to make a game based on SOS. I love sci-fi stuff
Nope, sorry. I guess that makes me less creative I mirror the image back and forth as I work, so the handedness is pretty random.Ozymandias wrote:Are you left handed? it seems you like to draw left-handed peepz.

Yeah, I'd rather see the dragon game actually. Cabalesque game just seems quick and small (though in that possibly not worth the effort). Dragon game is totally my fav, riding on the top with any mech/arena concepts they've got brewing.jo-shadow wrote:I'm sure after they make Overgrowth, Black Shades 2, That dragon game and Soul of Steel, that then they might XD
Re: Future Game Ideas
there is NO Dragon Game that really nailed it TO DATE! Not any. Not a single. We still need to dream of a real dragon (riding or not) game.
Wolfire could do it. I believe in Wolfire.
Most games just treated the Dragon like an aircraft or vehicle. Even Drakan, which wasn't a complete letdown. I of the Dragon was the first that had the scale but otherwise it was crap.
The only game that was close to getting it right is Lair on PS3. The scale was right and it had air melee in there, along with a flying model that felt like your animal was actually a creatue (no looping flying for example). But it had also a bad engine, horrible arcade-like design, bad writing, catastrophic controls, oh man... Not to mention that you still could fire rapidly (how stupid is that, imagine a human spitting like a machine gun!) although it was uneffective compared to a full fireball.

SoS. I think that a lightnings shadow would be cool too.

You just gave me an idea for a YouTube Poop.Swordarm wrote:(how stupid is that, imagine a human spitting like a machine gun!)
Also, you have five thumbs up for the dragon game from me. At the same time. That's two thumbs up on my hands, two on my feet and one sprouting from my tongue.
Re: Future Game Ideas
I had the idea for a space fleet combat game based around space knights-- The different knights would each have special bonuses and unique heraldry. I liked the idea of boarding actions where your knights could fight hand to hand

Hah, somewhat random, but the design reminded me of this: http://www.cosplay.com/costume/180478/Ninjas wrote:-Space Knight Picture-

Lol, you might have to add more high-tech stuff or maybe glowing lights or something to that =p
Re: Future Game Ideas
This is from an idea we were talking about for an arena combat FPS like Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 (except more awesome )

Space Combat games are difficult. Very difficult to get right.
