if you think my first few houses suck.. don't worry...they will get better (hopefully) as i make more and get used to the editor. and hopefully Aubrey 'Ninjas' will make some more plants sometime soon.

Darn you XD I was thinking of doing something similar. it's really the only way to make a large city, modeling each house separately would just take far too long.

Actually i'm working on making some new custom models, like a spiral staircase

Suffice it to say, I think it's a great idea. Make some great houses. =)

Due to the recent spike in new models and levels I think a user-created content forum, or other repository would be in order soon, combined with a snazzy content browser in-engine. Here's hoping something like this will make it into the Alpha's soon. (phillip vaguely hinted at some new interface stuff recently, so fingers crossed)

Make a house on a hill. If it's in a specific city, town hall?

Hey guys, something to think about when you design this stuff: In Europe, many cities were built around a church (the church becomes the center of the town). In fact, when you drive around, it's easy to find the church; just follow "Town Center" signs. Around the church there is usually a large open square made of cobblestones. On the cobblestones, markets have popped up. Etc, etc. This kind of center-out building might help add realism to the maps.

Aye, Looking at some ancient and medieval city layouts with the help of Google will also help. Been looking a-lot of those for inspiration lately.

Aww... I hope I didn't have anything to do with this... making stuff should be fun, so if you don't feel like doing it anymore we all understand.

Hope everything is alright :(

Yeah, you've got a good eye, Nimai. All the buildings look great.

But making stuff should be fun, for sure.

I am truly ashamed at your cowardice, Nimai, or should I say, Nimwit?

But seriously, that's too bad!
