Any plans to support DirectX?

Probably not OG is a Mac friendly game.

I don't see a reason why. It would take a bunch of time to get it working, to only give a small speed boost.

OpenGL works fine on Windows.

Not with all graphics cards, particularly ATI ones. No doubt a big reason why Macs only come with NVIDIA graphics cards.

In any case, I imagine that translating OpenGL to DirectX would require a considerable amount of effort. Perhaps people with problems could try using this: http://www.majorgeeks.com/GLDirect_d381.html

Not entirely true. They still come with ATI in options.

Did you at least updated your graphic card drivers?

Besides, before jumping directly at any conclusions, you have to remember it's still in alpha stage, so graphic issues are still common. Explaining the problem will help the developpers to fix it.

I know, I know, already did everything, so not going to get into a formal bug report.

Was mainly asking as DirectX is the more main stream rendering api.

Radeon HD3650 512mb, in an Acer laptop.

I mean the alphas work on my pc so I ain't too bothered, but OG on the go would be sweet.

Strange. I don't see why OpenGL wouldn't work with that card. :S

No error messages?

Yeah, OpenGL has been around for a while, so any card that doesn't support it either needs to get a driver update, or is a weird off-brand.
