The unofficial, alpha 46 leaked build is (about to be) here!

A "leaked build" is when John and I literally grab the latest SVN build and package it up for you guys. It has a ton of known bugs, so don't worry if it doesn't work for you. It is not condoned by David and Aubrey but we want to keep you guys in the loop and give you stuff to play with regularly! Please report bugs in our Trac system!

*NOTE* Please remember that these are unofficial alphas and they do not represent a finished product. They are not even polished builds, just straight up raw development dumps not intended for public consumption.

This week we are switching to a more secure distribution system. Our old method of unsecured, raw direct links was cool and the honor system worked great for almost an entire year, but unfortunately last week, someone leaked it to the public and we racked up a massive bandwidth bill. So, yesterday I wrote a more secure version!

Note! No PPC, 10.4 Tiger, or Linux support at the moment -- we are waiting on Awesomium for these. AJS says that Linux support is on the horizon, but we cannot make any concrete estimates for it.

Hey guys, sadly my internet has been crapping out today, so the upload keeps getting restarted. I'm going to leave it on overnight and hopefully tomorrow morning the mac and windows builds will be ready!

Also, you guys need to fix the email notification system on the forums, I have it checked on my control panel but it doesn't work, and because of this I forget to check out the forums!

Yes, YOU! j/k, I don't think they should concentrate on that, it will happen again but not on their servers and that's what's important. They did their share of bare minimum security so they don't have to overpay but the actual leaking/cracking fact will always happen whether you put millions in security or a few lines of code.

Wow, the updates just keep coming! If school project wasn't hogging all my time I'd be busy trying to finish my models so I could test them in the engine once there are tools for that. Unfortunately, it' be a few weeks before I have time to spare.

Damnit! Can't get the link to work. I've copy-pasted the link (including my secret alpha key), but only get an XML saying "NoSuchKey". I was really looking forward to this alpha!
