I am currently running an Intel box
Core 2 processor
ATI Radeon 2400 card.
8 gigs of RAM.
Windows 7 64bit.

What is recommend for working with the Phoenix engine when modding?
Thanks in advance,

Here is a hint

More ram = good

More processors or cores = good (but to a limited extent)

Better Processor Power = good.

This generally applies to all programs.

Looking at your specks though you definitely have more then enough ram, I'm not familiar with the radeon cards though, and you haven't mentioned your processor power.

Dude, I think the best course of action here is to simply download the alpha and see what sort of framerate you get when you start filling up a level with objects, and enabling shadows etc.
And since you're talking about modding you could try to add all those totally rad models you've made to the engine 'cuz that's what's up, right?
But srsly, those are high-end specs. (I assume you just bought a new rig) No worries, mon!
Unless there's some issues with Windows 7?

I'd recommend installing Ubuntu - that way you can not run Phoenix, on all the highest settings :P

You have twice as much RAM as I do - I'm not sure if it's even possible to fill up that much RAM. Unless you're playing Supreme Commander...
