Supported Video Cards
Re: Supported Video Cards
The BFG GTX 260 core 216 is different from the EVGA GTX 260 core 216 for example:
They have different memory clocks - 1998 MHz for BFG and 2304 MHz for EVGA;
They have different overclock frequencies: BFG @ 590 MHz and EVGA @ 675 MHz
Happy now?
Offtopic: Why do you use bold writing now? Takin' someone's strategy for attention I see...

Re: Supported Video Cards
Oh, I wasn't implying anything. I was happy to begin with, I just wanted to let you guys know that they seemed fairly similiar.
I've been using Bold since like 3 months back now, I think.
It's easier to read for me, and to see if there's someone replying to what I've posted (since their quotes often also gets bolded)

Re: Supported Video Cards
Oh right, i just noticed you were using bold for a longer time than i thought;
I wasn't saying you were implying anything. I just pointed out that there are some differences between the different company models.

Re: Supported Video Cards
All good, then.
Re: Supported Video Cards
works well with 4890 and 2x4890 in crossfire. Using 10.4 drivers from ATI.
Only issue was an inability to load at 2048x1152 my one monitors native resolution, but 1920x1080 works great. my other monitors native resolution.
O.

Re: Supported Video Cards
Hmmm. I can't load the game with my 2 x 4890 OC from Sappphire.Orillian wrote:works well with 4890 and 2x4890 in crossfire. Using 10.4 drivers from ATI.
Though, I don't get the "unsupported shaders" message, but quite peculiar error windows - see this post
Edit: My bad, a re-install resolved all problems.
Re: Supported Video Cards
Please post the exact model of the video card.
Re: Supported Video Cards
Nvidia Geforce 9800GTX works;)
Re: Supported Video Cards
I have Nvidia Geforce 7600 GT and it gives me error "No graphic card detected that supports shaders; please wait for us to implement a shader fallback path". I really would like to play this game! What to do?

Re: Supported Video Cards
Make sure you have the lastest OpenGL drivers, but otherwise you might need to get another graphics card - shaders are standard now, I'm be surprised if you could play any other mainstream title.
Re: Supported Video Cards
This should have pixel shader 3.0 and I dont know the version of my OpenGL but this is latest one for this graphic card.tomascokis wrote:Make sure you have the lastest OpenGL drivers, but otherwise you might need to get another graphics card - shaders are standard now, I'm be surprised if you could play any other mainstream title.

Re: Supported Video Cards
Can you confirm the shader support with OpenGL Extension Viewer?
google->"OpenGL Extension Viewer"

Re: Supported Video Cards
Current version is 2.1. Is it good enough?

Re: Supported Video Cards
If you have full support, then yes. Must be a genuine bug then.
Re: Supported Video Cards
And no one have any solution to fix this? Would really love to get to play this game.
